Tips to Get 100% Completion
Achieving a total completion on Zero Parades: For Dead Spies is an exercise in meticulous planning. We’re talking about 55 meticulously created, narrative-driven, multiple-playthrough milestones in a game that relies heavily on choice-driven RPG mechanics.
Meaning you should expect to play through the campaign at least twice with contrasting character builds to see all possible outcomes. We’re not diving into the spoiler pool here so as to not mess up your experience, but choices that are mutually exclusive, such as helping character A escape or handing them to their enemies, are the bread and butter of an RPG themed around heavy narrative details.
Furthermore, perfectionists must keep a sharp eye on missable collectibles and specific items required for the endgame. For instance, you must avoid sacrificing certain items, like the model train set or a specific wolf cup, when attempting to craft your own firearm, as these items are needed for separate character quests and collection milestones. Similarly, the Red Disc is a pivotal item that must be reconstructed and used correctly during the final tram sequence to trigger specific squad outcomes and the elite ranking.
Finally, be warned that certain interactions with another certain character can potentially glitch your ability to obtain the reconstructed disc, so it is recommended to pass a Statehood check to force this person to hand it over rather than making a voluntary trade. Managing your psychological meters—Fatigue, Anxiety, and Delirium—is also vital, as reaching the breaking point in these areas can lead to unique “death” achievements that end your run prematurely.
