As with its previous iterations, Forza Horizon 6 also brings a ton of hidden collectibles. This time around, some of the most interesting things to be on the lookout for are the Treasure Cars—hidden vehicles of high prestige and tons of rewards when found.
And lucky you, we know where to find them all. Check out our full guide below!
What are Treasure Cars and How to Search Them

Treasure Cars are a distinct category of collectible vehicles that differ significantly from the game’s Barn Finds. While Barn Finds are gated behind “Discover Japan” Stamp progression and require hours of real-time restoration, Treasure Cars can be collected without any level-based prerequisites. You only need to find them in their respective locations.
Most importantly, once you locate one, it is available to drive immediately or can be stored in your garage for later use.
Every Treasure Car search begins once you get into a new region: there are nine vehicles total, and whenever you’re passing near one’s hiding spot, Mei will provide a radio rumor or a postcard-style photo clue depicting the car’s general surroundings.
As you physically narrow down the location, a purple icon will appear on your mini-map to guide you to the exact spot and, when you find it, a button prompt will trigger the collecting cutscene.
Treasure Car Locations and How to Get Them

As previously stated, all 9 Treasure Cars in Forza Horizon 6 can be found throughout the regions of the game’s Japan map (one per region).
Luckily, you got your work cut out for you, as the handy table below will outline their hiding spots. The following table provides the specific model found in each area and the visual landmarks needed to secure them.
| Vehicle | Region | Location Details |
| 1991 Nissan Figaro | Tokyo City | Found in a small parking lot along the southern coast near the Rainbow Bridge. |
| 1969 Dodge Charger R/T | Minamino | Tucked behind buildings east of the golf course, near the Airfield Trail. |
| 1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE | Ohtani | Located at the base of the red radio towers in the western mountain range. |

Benefits and Rewards of Finding the Cars

Well, the Treasure Cars themselves are the main benefits, of course: once you find one of them, it will immediately become available for driving. However, there is a little more to it. Beyond the intrinsic value of adding legendary motors to your collection, hunting these cars provides significant progression boosts.
Firstly, completing the full set of nine unlocks the “Treasure Hunter” achievement. As if that wasn’t enough, Treasure Cars offer a unique mechanical advantage: spending a single skill point on any of these vehicles rewards the player with 10,000 XP, which is currently the highest XP return for any car type in the game, making them an efficient tool for leveling up your driver rank early.
Because they are road-ready the moment they are found, they allow new players to access high-performance machinery, such as the Ford GT or Porsche 959, without spending millions of credits.
Final Thoughts

The Treasure Car system highlights Forza Horizon 6’s exploration mechanics, ensuring the game is perceived as more than just your run-of-the-mill racer title.
Furthermore, they’re so easy to find that this may even become an entry point for casual players who just wanna feel like driving a hi-end machine—albeit virtually, of course.
Forza Horizon 6 is available for purchase on Windows, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
