Dead as Disco hides a surprising amount of collectibles across its chaotic stages, and tracking them all down is much harder than simply exploring every room. Many of these items are tied to specific progression triggers, dialogue requirements, and even collection order. Miss a step, and you can spend hours searching empty hallways wondering why nothing spawned.
The game does a great job of hiding secrets in combat arenas, out-of-bounds locations, train tunnels, and backstage corners. Some collectibles are easy to spot, while others blend almost perfectly into the environment. If you want every cosmetic, extra challenge, and story-related unlock, you’ll need to approach the hunt carefully.
Here’s how the collectible system works in Dead as Disco and where to find every currently available item.
How Collectible Spawns Work

Before searching for collectibles, you first need to understand how the spawning system works in Dead as Disco. Items do not automatically appear just because you enter a stage. First, you must complete the Idol stage and reach the encore milestone, otherwise many collectibles will remain completely hidden.
After that, continue speaking with characters until their dialogue starts repeating, since some items are locked behind fully exhausting every available conversation line. Finally, collectibles must be gathered in chronological order. You cannot skip ahead to later items before collecting the earlier ones tied to that character. Missing any of these steps can leave you wandering through stages for hours without finding anything.
Dex Collectible Locations

Dex’s collectibles bounce between his own stage and The Encore. Some are easy to miss during combat because they sit near arena edges.
| Item | Location |
|---|---|
| Pocket Reactor Core | Replay Dex’s stage and look directly to Dex’s right. The item is sitting nearby as soon as you enter. |
| Song Notes | Found in The Encore. Start near Stix, head downstairs, then immediately turn right. Follow the hallway and check behind the stacked boxes. |
| Issue of Guitar Soldiers | Appears during the pyramid fight in Dex’s stage. As soon as the fight begins, check the right corner of the arena. |
The combat arenas are busy, and the camera movement can make small objects blend into the scenery. During the pyramid fight especially, take a second to scan the edges before diving into enemies.
Prophet Collectible Locations

Prophet’s collectibles mix exploration with Infinite Disco challenges. One item even looks completely unreachable at first glance.
| Item | Location |
|---|---|
| Photo of tagging D.E.D | Found early in Prophet’s stage on top of a car. It looks out of bounds, but you can still collect it by standing directly in front of it. |
| Wish by Onimaru | Prophet eventually asks for new music. You must play this song on the jukebox. Unlock it by completing its Infinite Disco challenge first. |
| Poster of young Stix | Found during the bouncer fight in Prophet’s stage. Search along the arena walls during the encounter. |
The “Wish by Onimaru” collectible catches a lot of players because it depends on another mode entirely. If the song is unavailable on the jukebox, you still need to clear its Infinite Disco challenge.
Hemlock Collectible Locations

Hemlock sends you back into earlier areas, so expect some backtracking.
| Item | Location |
|---|---|
| Ad for Power Juice | Found immediately after spawning in. Look at the vending machine on the right side of the room. |
| Spray Cans | Return to the opening section of Prophet’s stage. The item sits near the back close to the D.E.D tagging photo location. |
| Double Trouble Challenge | Found in Infinite Disco’s challenge section. |
This fight can get ugly fast if you split your damage between both enemies. Focus entirely on one target and remove him as quickly as possible. Takedowns help a lot here, especially when combined with Prophet’s skill. Once one enemy drops, the fight becomes much easier to control.
Arora (Rori) Collectible Locations

Rori’s collectibles hide inside some of the game’s most visually chaotic sections. A few blend into the environment almost perfectly.
| Item | Location |
|---|---|
| Bonsai Tree | Found in Prophet’s stage right after the bouncer fight. Look toward the upper-left section of the area. |
| Issue of Business World | Located in the train tunnel during Hemlock’s stage. Check the left wall carefully. The item blends into the environment extremely well. You can walk up the walls to reach it. |
| Photo of Rori & Her Best Friend | Found during the abyss section of Rori’s stage. Look toward the top-right area. The photo sits on the back of a crouching mannequin. |
The “Issue of Business World” is probably the easiest collectible in the game to overlook. The train tunnel is dark, the object matches the wall color, and most players sprint through the area without checking the sides. Slow down during that section and scan carefully.
Final Advice Before You Start Hunting

If collectibles are not appearing, stop searching and double-check the requirements first. Most missing items come down to incomplete dialogue or grabbing things out of sequence.
Dead as Disco loves hiding objects in corners, behind scenery, and inside combat arenas where your attention is already split. Take your time during fights, replay stages when needed, and keep exhausting dialogue after every major milestone. You will save yourself a ridiculous amount of frustration that way.
